翻訳と辞書　辞書検索 [ 開発暫定版 ] スポンサード リンク Presbyterian Senior High School, Osu ： ウィキペディア英語版 Presbyterian Senior High School, Osu The Presbyterian Secondary School, Osu was established in 1956 in one of the Old Basel Missionary Buildings at the foot of Kuku Hill of Osu. The building was used to house some teachers of the Junior School which used to fill the Senior School popularly called Salem by the public. The church and some individual educationists teamed up to establish the school with Mr. Cleland Armah as the first Headmaster of the school. A little while after the establishment of the school, a diabolical plot was hatched by a man called Mr. Dan Oku, who was then the Assistant Headmaster of the school without the knowledge of the new Headmaster, Mr. P. K. Senaya. Mr. Dan Oku built a temporary structure at a place, some 400 metres to the north of the Presbyterian Secondary School and did all in his power to entice all the students and the staff to his new school. A devoted student of the school called Nii Awuley Tettey and some of his classmates who were then in form five with the assistance of Rev. A. Quarcoo and some teachers sent by the Ministry of Education, managed to avert this situation.. The church appointed Mr. K. A. Agyarkwa as the new Headmaster but was later replaced by Rev. K. A. Ofosuhene in 1962. In course of these unfortunate vicissitudes at the school the Presbyterian Church decided to hand over the school to the government. In 1963, the school was absorbed into the public system and Mr. A. J. B. McCarthy who was the Assistant Headmaster at the O’Reilly Secondary School, was appointed Headmaster of the school. Mr. McCarthy headed the school from 1964 to 1977 when he left for the Foreign Service and his Assistant; Mr. D. K.
